Hi! I’m Paige, the 2025 webmaster. I know that this looks really confusing, but it’s not so bad once you know what to look for. Here is a very basic guide:
- To work on the member page, go under the “AMO Team” tab. From there you can move people from current member to alumni, edit people’s pictures/bios, and add new members.
- Pictures added need to be less than 2MB. Use an image compressor if the file is too large. That will happen a lot. The one I like to use is linked here.
- When editing pages, make sure that you are on the “Visual” page instead of the “Text” page. The text page shows HTMLÂ code, which is disgusting and should not be engaged with.
- Make sure you have a tab with the website open to check what you are doing. You will have to refresh every time you make an update, but I like to make sure I am editing the correct thing before it gets too hard to undo.
- The paragraph/heading style does not carry over to the actual website correctly. If you want to have the formatting match, copy and paste previous text that have the style you want.
- To change the photos on the slideshow, edit through the main website, not here. You do that by hitting the “customize” button at the top of the screen. From there, change the images on the “Hero Slide” tab within “Hero Area” customization.
- For the photos page, click on one of the pictures and hit the edit button that will pop up. You can add new photos from there.
- To change auditions from the unavailable page to the scheduling page, go to appearance -> menus. From there, go to the “Auditions” custom link. Change the word “unavailable” to “available” or vice versa.
These are most of the tips you need. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at paigeq06@gmail.com.
